Arriving to the U.S. from Russia in her teens, Dr. Angelina Anisimova chose dentistry as a way to care for the health of communities in her new country. After completing her undergraduate work at Washington University in St. Louis, she then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee.
Dr. Anisimova began practicing in a high-volume, corporate-owned dental practice and soon decided that this one-size-fits-all type of dentistry was not for her. Opening her own practice in 2007, she has worked hard to create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for her patients so they are relaxed and at ease during their visits. She selects her staff carefully in order to maintain and improve this friendly atmosphere.
Helping each patient maintain good overall oral health is important to Dr. Anisimova. When she provides an examination or a dental procedure, she takes care to note how patients can improve their oral health and provides education and a personalized treatment plan for them.
This dentist is dedicated to honesty in her practice and never recommends a treatment that’s not medically necessary. What she feels is most important is that each patient gets the care they need—with her or with another dentist, if that’s what’s needed. The priority is that the patient is cared for.
When not caring for patients’ dental health or pursuing further education and skills, Dr. Anisimova is at home with her husband and two daughters. The whole family loves to travel and experience new environments and cities.
